Hi, Iâm Zowie! I am about 3 years old and 37 pounds. I was surrendered to the shelter, but I've made lots of friends who walked me and gave me treats. Now, I get to live in a foster home! I have discovered that âcrateâ means a treat, so I am happy to go into mine and relax when foster mom has work to do. Plus, I learned âsitâ and âdownâ in about 10 minutes! I am potty trained, and sleep through the night in my crate. When I am out of the crate I hang out calmly in the nearest dog bed and love chewing on bones. Outside, I like to stretch out in my outside dog bed or in the yard with my rope toy. I'm a pretty chill girl and I mostly like to just hang! Sometimes I get the mini-zoomies and I'll ask to play with my foster sibling dogs too, which is great fun. I am also a good runner, so if you want to go hiking, Iâm youâre girl! I recently got to go to a pool party: I sat on the steps of the pool and loved it! I love water, especially chasing spray and drinking from the hose. I can't wait for my forever family, and I promise to be your most loyal companion ever!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and ZOWIE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, ZOWIE’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the ZOWIE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, ZOWIE’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
