Hi there! My name is Nala, and I'm a special 45-pound girl looking for a loving forever home. I came into the shelter without my eyes, as they were removed due to glaucoma when I was with my previous owner. Being a blind dog, I need a patient adopter who will help me navigate and adjust to my new environment. It can be a bit challenging when you can't see, but with some time and patience, I'll thrive! I've been learning (and loving) lots in my foster home: I've learned to turn away from hissing cats, but I'd do best as the only pet in the home. I'm cuddly and love toysâespecially ones that make noise! I'm a total foodie and enjoy long naps snuggled up with my favorite human. I take my time getting to know new people; I'm a wine and dine kinda gal. If you're looking for a sweet, snuggly companion, I'm your girl.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and NALA was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, NALA’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the NALA’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, NALA’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
