Anakin was put on the auction block by his original person, who fell on hard times and needed the $10 more than a dog. Unfortunately for Anakin he was sold to someone who dumped him on the nearest corner a few days later. When Anakin was picked up on the street, he was super excited and jumped right into the car with his saviors, all tail wags and happy kisses. Since his upgrade from street dog to rescue pup, Anakin has picked up some manners, a few commands and a purpose! He would thrive in a home where there is structure and routine. Anakin is a 3 year old American bully mix, weighing around 70lbs. He comes neutered, up to date on vax, and house trained. Anakin does equally well with people and animals. Please contact with any questions or to schedule a meet and greet. Home checks are required. Please do not contact if you are not willing to allow a home visit.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Anakin was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Anakin’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Anakin’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Anakin’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
