About this Dog
Born March of 2023, I have had her since May of 2023. Has been professionally trained by behavioral therapists at six months old. Leash trained, command trained, kennel trained, potty trained. Bootsy came to my home where I already had two dogs, a senior beagle and a puppy chihuahua. Bootsy and the chihuahua became best friends right away. Bootsy and the Beagle never became close, but there was never any concern or aggression shown. Fast forward to August 15th 2025, and for the only time ever, Bootsy got in a fight with my Beagle, and sadly the Beagle passed away. Bootsy is a VERY smart, loving, and kind dog, and this was a territorial fight with my Beagle. As such, Bootsy needs to be in a loving home as the only dog. It breaks my heart to give her up, but my girlfriend and I have two other dogs, and Bootsy needs to be the only dog. I have reached out to many rescues here in the Pensacola FL area (where I live), and they are all full and not taking in any new re-homes/fosters. Right now, Bootsy is staying at my house alone, where my other dogs are at my girlfriends house (where I live). Luckily my girlfriend and I each own our own homes, so we are able to separate the dogs. But living a life alone, in an empty house, is no life I want for my little girl. Bootsy is 35lbs roughly, female, spayed, chipped, trained, up to date on shots, has gone to the groomer every eight weeks. She is a loyal love bug that just needs humans all to herself. Please help me save this beautiful young Tri-Color American Pitbull Terrier. Thank you.

Adopt Bootsy and Receive Bootsy's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Bootsy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Bootsy's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Bootsy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Bootsy's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bootsy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bootsy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bootsy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bootsy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
