*Please check out Bugs' videos. Bugs Buddy was abandoned at 18 months old. Even though she was dying, Cyd adopted Bugs Buddy to save him from returning to an unhealthy & overcrowded living situation. Bugs has been living happily at Cyd’s home but now needs a new forever person. Cyd passed away in January and sweet Bugs is still waiting to be chosen as someone's forever. All visitors at the Catio love him but for some reason he doesn't get picked. He gets along with all the other kitties in foster care and patiently waits his turn for pets, love and treats. Bugs is a bog boy who likes to cuddle, roll around and be brushed. He is still quite young (3) and would love someone to play with. Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained. Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online Cat Adoption Application on our website aaFlorida.org/adopt. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Bugs Buddy (Cyd)'s new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bugs Buddy (Cyd) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bugs Buddy (Cyd)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bugs Buddy (Cyd)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bugs Buddy (Cyd)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
