SAND DOLLAR (Sandy) is a super sweet girl who was pulled from an Alabama shelter on the night she gave birth (by C-Section) to FOURTEEN perfect gray and white puppies! She was the BEST mom!!!! “Sandy” is about 5 years old and adores being the center of attention, so we feel she would thrive in a one-dog home! She is definitely not a fan of cats! Sandy loves all people and is great with kids! She is good on a leash and rides well in a car. She deserves a home that will adore her and spoil her rotten! She doesn’t like to be separated from her people, as her previous life left her traumatized about being left alone. She has to be in a home where someone is there with her to make her feel safe. Hopefully, this condition will improve once she gets settled and finds her forever family that can give her the time and patience to allow her to trust again. She really is a good girl! Sandy is a medium-sized dog, so we recommend a home with a fenced-in backyard and/or daily exercise and socialization plans. Amazing Grace Bully Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Pensacola, Florida. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sand Dollar (Sandy) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sand Dollar (Sandy)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sand Dollar (Sandy)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sand Dollar (Sandy)’s balance will remain in our general fund.
