Meet Gidget & Ash – A Bonded Pair of Love, Laughter, and Lap Time! Gidget and Ash are a sweet and spirited pair of one-year-old sisters who are looking for their forever home—together. These girls have spent their whole lives side-by-side and recently came back into our care through no fault of their own. Their previous family, which included young children, loved them dearly but had to surrender them back to us due to a military deployment. Now, they’re ready to bring joy and companionship to a new loving home. Meet Gidget With her mostly white coat and charming black markings on her head and tail, Gidget is a true standout. She was born with cerebellar hypoplasia—also known as wobbly kitten syndrome—which gives her an adorable, unsteady gait and head bob. But don’t be fooled: this doesn’t slow her down one bit! Gidget is outgoing, confident, and full of playful energy. She embraces life wholeheartedly and will win you over instantly with her zest and resilience. Her condition requires no medication or special veterinary care. Meet Ash Ash is a stunning Siamese snowshoe mix with gentle blue eyes and a quiet grace. She can be a bit shy when first meeting new people, but once she feels safe, her affectionate and curious nature shines through. She absolutely adores her sister and often takes comfort in Gidget’s fearless lead. These two complement each other perfectly—Gidget brings the spunk, and Ash brings the calm. They spend their days playing, cuddling, and exploring together, and we know they’ll bring double the love and personality to the lucky family that adopts them. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Gidget and Ash's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Gidget and Ash was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Gidget and Ash’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Gidget and Ash’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Gidget and Ash’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
