About this Dog
Meet Baby - the sweetest, goofiest chihuahua you’ll ever meet! At 9 years old, this long-haired, pink-eared 11lb male chihuahua mix is the perfect mix of playful energy and snuggly companion. Don’t let his age fool you - he has a young, joyful spirit and loves to romp and play, especially if he has a doggy friend to share the fun with. Dog-Friendly Superstar: He absolutely adores dogs of all sizes and gets along beautifully with his foster sister. He’s gentle, submissive and respectful of other dogs’ space, but also loves giving little face kisses to his friends. We are wanting his forever home to have a fur sibling as a companion, either a dog or a cat. Playful & Goofy: His foster mom says he has the best personality - funny, affectionate and full of life. He’ll keep you smiling with his silly antics and loving nature. And he loves stuffies! He doesn't destroy them, he runs around with them and sleeps with them, almost always has one in his bed. Easygoing Companion: He’s fantastic on a leash and looks forward to his daily walks. He’s also an excellent co-pilot in the car—he did amazing on a recent 1-hour road trip! Cuddly & Sweet: At night, he’s happiest snuggled up in blankets right next to you. He’s affectionate without being needy, and he’ll make sure you know just how much you’re loved. Low Maintenance, but Loves Company: He doesn’t have separation anxiety, but he’d thrive best in a home where he isn’t left alone for long stretches—he just loves being with his people. He warms up more quickly to a woman than a man. A home with someone who is retired or works from home would be best. He is hesitant around younger kids, so if the home has kids, 12 and older would be best. House Manners: He’s working on not marking indoors, and now that he’s neutered, his foster mom expects continued improvement. In the meantime, he does well with a belly band. A fenced yard would be ideal to give him easy potty breaks. Vocal Expression: He barks when he hears outside noises, so probably not a candidate for apartment/condo living. And he will usually bark when meeting new people on leash, while simultaneously licking their hand. Healthy & Happy: For 9 years old, he’s in wonderful health, with good teeth and plenty of pep. He’s ready for a forever home that will cherish him for the sweetheart he is. This boy is truly one of a kind—loving, playful and endlessly sweet. He’ll bring so much joy to the lucky family who opens their heart to him. If you think Baby could be your new best friend, fill out an application today.
Contribute to Baby's Stash!

100% of Baby's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Baby.
Adopt Baby and Receive Baby's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Baby's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Baby's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Baby, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Baby's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Baby was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Baby’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Baby’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Baby’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
