Hi, I’m Bigote. I’ve got a mustache, a story, and a serious love for pets and cuddles. I used to live in a crate at a trailer park, which wasn’t exactly luxury living, but I made it work. Now I’m out, cleaning up nicely, and ready to upgrade to something with windows, snacks, and a human who knows how to scratch behind the ears. I’m a big guy with a soft side and excellent taste in lounging spots. If it’s warm, comfy, or inconvenient for you, I’ll be there. I like to keep things simple. You pet me, I purr. You sit down, I appear. I’ve been told I give off “retired soap opera villain turned good” energy, which is fair, considering the mustache. I’m not demanding, but I do expect admiration. If you’ve got space for a big soft cat with a bigger personality and a little flair, I’ve got a mustache with your name on it. This kitty is currently in a loving foster home and has been tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, has age appropriate vaccinations, and has been spayed/neutered. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Bigote's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bigote was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bigote’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bigote’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bigote’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
