About this Cat
Hi! I'm Lily, a dainty little spark plug in a fur coat. I might be small, but I’ve got enough energy to light up your whole living room (and then knock over your houseplants just for fun). I was recently left at the shelter with my best buddy Wilder—something about our human not wanting us anymore, but let’s not dwell. I’ve got toys to chase, tails to pounce on (mostly Wilder’s), and naps to aggressively schedule in sunbeams. I’m the comic relief in this duo. My zoomies are art. My purrs are tiny but mighty. And if you're ever feeling down, don't worry—I'll sit in your lap and stare lovingly into your soul until you’re laughing or crying (ideally both). I need Wilder like peanut butter needs jelly, or like you need snacks during sad movies. We’re a bonded pair, which is just a fancy way of saying I’ve claimed his belly as my bed and I’m not giving it up. This kitty is currently in a loving foster home and has been tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, has age-appropriate vaccinations, and has been spayed/neutered. Please put in an adoption application on our website, cats-can.org if you are interested or if you have any questions, please email us at [email protected]

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lilly the Sweet Tabby was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lilly the Sweet Tabby’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Lilly the Sweet Tabby’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lilly the Sweet Tabby’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
