About this Cat
Meet Gemma! Gemma is a sweet but shy little tabby cat with the cutest orange markings. She arrived to foster care alone and was very afraid. Over time, she has improved but she will need a forever home that is patient with her and allows her to come out of her shell in her own time. She allows herself to be held and petted, but will sometimes hide. Gemma loves to play with other cats and kittens but she is fearful of the small dogs at her foster home. She loves to wrestle with the other kittens in the house and also likes to run and chase them. She loves all the toys but her favorites are those that roll or have feathers. She is very good with her litter box and uses the scratching post. Gemma's adoption fee includes her vaccines to date, rabies vaccine (when she is old enough), microchip, deworming, flea preventative and spay surgery. And if you would like to bring home a friend for her to play with, you are in luck because OCAS offers BOGO so you get twice the love for one adoption fee. If you would like to meet Gemma, please email her foster at [email protected]. Tell her a bit about yourself, where Gemma would be living and other pets and children in the home. She will get back to you for a playdate if you are a good fit.

Adopt Gemma and Receive Gemma's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Gemma's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Gemma's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Gemma, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Gemma's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Gemma was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Gemma’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Gemma’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Gemma’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
