Hello, my name is Winston and I recently lost my home and everything I knew. Except my house buddy, Roxi, I still have her to hang out with.Now I need a new home - I would love it to have Roxi come with me if you are willing to have us both, we promise to be no trouble at all! I like to have plenty of spots to take naps, I do like to cuddle at times and sit on your lap. I need lots of grooming to keep my coat clear of mats and shiney, but I'm not high maintenance. I love to play, like cat nip and canned food, and treats, and laser lights! I prefer to have furniture for cats or scratch pads to help me sheathe my nails, in case I need them. I hate carriers, but somehow the humans win and I get to travel even when I don't want to.I promise to give you lots of love and fill your home with joy. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Winston (w/Roxi) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Winston (w/Roxi)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Winston (w/Roxi)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Winston (w/Roxi)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
