Hi, I'm Bailey. I'm a large-and-in-charge cat with a bold personality to match my handsome looks. Affectionate and outgoing, I'm the kind of feline who makes fast friends with anyone who walks through the door. As one of the current office interns at Sheltering Hands, I take my duties seriously—especially when it comes to supervising mealtime. I have an impeccable internal clock, and I'm not shy about reminding everyone when it's time to eat. A true ham for attention, I love to be the center of it. I thrive on affection and enjoy grooming my favorite humans as a sign of love and loyalty. When I'm not turning on the charm for staff and visitors, I can often be found lounging or playing with my brother, Brice. The two of us are a bonded pair, rarely seen apart, and our sibling bond is as sweet as it is strong. I also have a curious streak and enjoy spending time at the window, watching the world go by. Lizards, birds, and squirrels provide endless entertainment. Whether I'm cuddling, supervising lunch, or enjoying nature’s channel from a sunny windowsill, I bring joy, laughter, and a whole lot of heart to the office - And I can bring it to your home, too! Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Bailey's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bailey was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bailey’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bailey’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bailey’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
