About this Dog
Meet Breyer (Daisy), a bright and energetic girl whoâs made incredible progress since arriving at the shelter in August 2024. Sheâs been treated for heartworms and is now ready to find a home that understands her unique personality. Breyer (Daisy) is full of life, has a goofy side, and is learning her way in the worldâshe responds well to structure and is improving with leash training. Sheâs house-trained, uses a doggie door, and does great when left loose in the house. While she may not be a cuddler, sheâs starting to bond, even quietly following her person from room to room.Breyer (Daisy) thrives on routine and does best in a calm, structured environment without other pets. She has shown reactivity toward other dogs, including difficulty accepting corrections and becoming overstimulated during play. Because of this, sheâll need an experienced home committed to continued training and safety management. Breyer (Daisy) isnât for the average adopter, but in the right hands, sheâll reward you with loyalty, personality, and a one-of-a-kind bond. If you're looking for a project dog with potentialâand a bit of sassâBreyer just might be your match.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and BREYER (DAISY) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, BREYER (DAISY)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the BREYER (DAISY)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, BREYER (DAISY)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
