Phyl (16 lbs) and Mena (21 lbs) are a bonded pair of 10-year-old poodle mixes looking for a forever home together. These two are the definition of companionship - they do everything side by side and love nothing more than snuggling up on the couch together. Phyl has cataracts in both eyes and is mostly blind, but that doesn’t slow him down! He gets around just fine with a little guidance, and Mena is always by his side. They are both house-trained when let out regularly and are crate trained, though Phyl may need a little help finding his way to the crate. Mena is a little on the fluffy side and could benefit from shedding a few pounds, but that just means there’s more of her to love! These two are incredibly sweet, laid-back, and would make wonderful companions for a calm, loving home.PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. We only adopt in Florida. All adoption fees go to help all the dogs in the rescue, some of which require extensive medical care. Thank you for caring for the greater good. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Phyl - Bonded with Mena was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Phyl - Bonded with Mena’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Phyl - Bonded with Mena’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Phyl - Bonded with Mena’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
