Female DOB 8/23/22 Hi there! I'm Foo Foo (short for LeFou) and I'm the lone survivor of the QTK's Beauty and her Beasts litter. All of my siblings and I had respiratory viruses when we were born so my QTK fosters kept a close eye on me for a little while which delayed my adoption availability, but that was way over a year ago and I'm healthy as can be now. Why am I still here? Even my momma was adopted! I have to tell ya, I'm PURRfect! Ask my QTK foster hoomans! They say I'm a real charmer - affectionate and gentle. I love hoomans, other cats, kittens, and dogs! Did you know cats can play fetch? Well, I know, because I play fetch! I am very playful and I'd like to "snoopervise" you when you go about your day whether you're relaxing, cooking, cleaning, or using the bathroom (oops, should I have mentioned that?)...I'm a social butterfly - er, I mean CAT! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Foo Foo (Le Fou) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Foo Foo (Le Fou)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Foo Foo (Le Fou)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Foo Foo (Le Fou)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
