About this Cat
I am looking for a home for my 3 year old cat Buoy. I love her but I haven't been feeling well for a while and need to give her away. She's spayed and micro-chipped. I would like her to go to home that would keep her as an indoor only cat (though she is harness trained so she can be taken outside that way). She's incredibly sweet and loves to cuddle. She's also very energetic and loves to play. She's food motivated by liquid treats and easy to train- I've already taught her to respond when called, sit, and allow me to put a harness on her. She was socialized with other cats until she was 4 months old. I will make sure her vaccines are up to date before giving her away. She has a tendency to stress pee on furniture, but as she only pees twice a day this is fixed by making sure she gets enough exercise and pees before leaving her alone. Her ears also tend to get dirty, so you will have to clean them every now and then.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Buoy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Buoy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Buoy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Buoy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
