About this Cat
Here are his details: - Name: Mulligan - Lilac Tabby - Neutered - Not microchipped per surrendering family - Good with dogs, cats and kids (Was living with a dog very well) - Sweet, affectionate, playful, a but scared right now bc he doesn't know what is going on, but eating well, litter trained, behaving very well. - No health issues per surrendering family - Will do best in a multi-person or multi-pet family. very affectionate. Here is the backstory: It is weird story, but I went to look at an apartment in a nearby building on Belle Isle, and while the tenants weren't there, the RE Agent was there and the cleaning woman was there and there was a sweet cat there. When I asked what was happening to the cat, whose water and food bowls were empty and filthy dirty, the cleaning lady said they didn't want the cat and were going to put it on the street. I negotatiated with the RE agent to talk to them to surrender the cat to me if that was the case, and they gave me the cat yesterday. I had them sign a surrender form as well. They said they rented another condo not knowing they couldn't take him, but they took the dog. All of this said, I cannot foster the cat any longer than a few more days. I had to put one of my two cats to sleep 2 weeks ago, and my remaining 13 yo cat has since declined and is having health issues, and not adjusting well. So introducing a big, active 5 yo into my 1 bedroom apartment is not feasible right now. This family moved to Miami a year ago from New Orleans, and they say they had him vaccinated at the LASPCA and he is trying to get me the vaccination records, and I have also called LASPCA, but if I don't get records by today, I will likely just go get him vetted.
