About this Cat
I'm Royal and I'm looking for my best friend forever. Royal is a senior kitty, between 8-12 years old, but not certain. Hes still playful and loves to jump up the wall with his mice toys and holler with excitement! He's in great health now but was in terrible shape when his foster found him on the streets of Springfield and rehabilitated him. He has hyperthyroid, a chronic condition, which requires an inexpensive tablet twice a day to manage. At last check his thyroid values were good- he will need a recheck in July 2025 and then annually if numbers are stable. He has also dealt with recurrent sinus infections cause by calicivirus. He is symptom free now but may require long-term doxycycline antibiotic if symptoms recur. He's a quirky guy, loves to scream and make funny noises; he's deaf so he likely can't hear himself very well. He loves affection, head rubs, nuzzles, and the occasional love bite. He can't resist a good nap in the sun. He's very bad at the vet and he gets the good drugs to make him nice for them. Churu, Vienna sausages, and tuna are his favorites and he gets wet food twice a day for kidney health. Somebody take this old man home to enjoy his silly, sweet, soulful self. All of our foster kitties are raised in foster homes, are up to date on vaccines for their size, spayed/neutered, FELV/FIV tested and microchipped. Interested in adopting? Adopt Royal and Receive Royal's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Royal's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Royal's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Royal, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Royal's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Royal was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Royal’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Royal’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Royal’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
