About this Cat
DOB: 09/10/2022 "Hi, I'm Solo. Thanks for taking a moment to read. Not everyone is interested in the wonky guys. Somewhere in my travels I had a serious accident. It caused me to lose a portion of my tail and I now suffer from partial facial paralysis. One side of my face can seem a little lazier than the other. I'm healthy, happy, and it doesn't bother me one bit. The only concern is making sure my eye is closed while I sleep. Dry eye could cause an ulcer or other issues, but so far so good. My foster family calls me The Food Inspector & Inventory Specialist. It didn't take me long to understand the fridge and its importance in the household. I can be quite pushy about human food, but I can also take a 'No'. Despite being grown, I still enjoy a little play. In general, I am a pretty active kitty. Wand toys are awesome. Cat nip is hit or miss depending on the day. While I'm not a fan of being held and carried around, I am a total lap cat and have expectations that we will snuggle in your bed. If it sounds like you can keep me furever safe, I'll furever love you." All of our foster kitties are raised in foster homes, are up to date on vaccines for their size, spayed/neutered, FELV/FIV tested and microchipped. Interested in adopting? Adopt Solo and Receive Solo's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Solo's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Solo's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Solo, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Solo's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Solo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Solo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Solo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Solo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
