About this Cat
GLORIA HERE! REMEMBER ME? I was on the news not too long ago — the brave little one who survived a terrible ordeal. Those two kids who hurt me? Well, I’ve come a long way since then, healing both physically and emotionally thanks to the love and care of my amazing foster mom. Now, I’m finally ready to find my forever home. HEAL will be accepting adoption applications for me, and while I’m hopeful, I do have a few special needs to make sure my next home is the right one: • Adoption must take place from my foster mom’s house — she knows me best and wants to make sure it’s a perfect fit. • I need a patient, understanding person who’s willing to continue to work with me and helping me feel safe and loved. • A quieter home without small children might be best, just to make sure I feel safe and never overwhelmed or get hit or pulled on again. • A kind, gentle heart is a must — someone who understands I may always carry some trauma from what happened, and that’s okay… The good news? I still love people — even kids! I’m not scared, and I get along great with other cats. My foster mom has nothing but wonderful things to say about me, and she says I’m one of the sweetest souls you’ll meet considering the trauma I went through. Please make sure you're ok working with me and understanding my hurtles. Check out my photos and see for yourself! I’ve come so far — maybe I’ve been waiting just for you. Adopt Gloria and Receive Gloria's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Gloria's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Gloria's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Gloria, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Gloria's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Gloria was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Gloria’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Gloria’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Gloria’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
