About this Cat
Mimita needs a second chance—and a safe, loving home to call her own. She’s 2 years old. Spayed. Fully vaccinated. Dewormed. On monthly flea/tick prevention. And full of quiet love. Mimita was rescued in Hollywood, FL while pregnant and alone. My sister and I gave her food and shelter, hoping she could have her kittens in peace. But life had other plans, and she had to be spayed. Now she’s sheltered in a quiet house, alone most of the time. We visit her 4-5 times a day and someonenis with her all weekends to make sure she’s well-fed and comforted—but she deserves so much more than that. This girl used to be feral, but what she really wanted was love. She’s gentle. Protective. Still learning to fully trust, but she wants to. We’re not sure how she does with other cats. She’s shown signs of friendliness, but also that protective mama energy. So if you have other pets, a gentle introduction will go a long way. What she needs is someone who understands—or is willing to learn—how to parent a cat who’s had to fight for safety. Someone with patience, a little experience, and a whole lot of heart. (And food. Mimita LOVES food.) We believe with the right care and consistency, she’ll become a loyal, loving member of your home—even with kids. She’s been waiting quietly. Let’s not keep her waiting much longer.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, ’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the ’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, ’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
