Toodles is a bright, happy, and friendly boy. He is energetic and enjoys people time, as well as romping in the yard and going for walks. He is very appreciative of all the attention and love he receives. Toodles is very good one on one with people, but can be overwhelmed and defensive if too many people come to him at once. Also, he gets along with most dogs, but occasionally he does not. Toodles is a gorgeous Maltese, about 4 1/2-5 years old, and 15-16 pounds. Because of his bit of a quarky side, he needs people who can show him patience, compassion, and understanding. He would be best as the only dog in his new home or with one other nice dog we would have to try him with. It would also be best for him to have just one new parent, but not mandatory. Toodles has had a rough life so far, but certainly deserves a chance at a new, loving, forever family. If you believe you can give him that chance, please put in an application today. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Toodles was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Toodles’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Toodles’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Toodles’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
