About this Dog
Say hello to Scout! This cutie patootie appears to be 100% beagle with his straight up tail and wispy black and white coat. He's got gorgeous ticking on his legs and a musical Beagle bray/bark when he's excited. We rescued Scout from a rural shelter in Northeast Ohio. He may have been a star hunting dog but we have no backstory as he was a stray. So far we can share that. Doing well with house training and leash training. His foster mom uses a belly band in the house just to make sure he doesn't mark his new territory. Scout has been settling well in his crate for breaks throughout the day and overnight. He enjoys toys and the playtime with other dogs. He can be a bit timid in new situations but quickly gets accustomed once he's checked out the new sights and sounds. He does love to run around so we'd love to see him have a fenced yard - or at least three good long walks a day - and so far he appears to do fine with other dogs as long as they give good cues and are friendly. Scout Is neutered, heartworm negative and ready to go on sleepover.

Adopt Scout III and Receive Scout III's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Scout III's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Scout III's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Scout III, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Scout III's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Scout III was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Scout III’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Scout III’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Scout III’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
