ADOPTION PENDINGBagel the beagle is the snuggliest snuggle bug! Although she doesn’t love to be picked up for more than a minute, Bagel will happily sit on your lap/chest and nuzzle into your neck while you’re sitting or lying down. Her foster mom says you’re not allowed to go anywhere in the house without her and when you leave she will tell you how much she missed you. She seems to love everyone she meets. Bagel adjusted very quickly to her foster home and, other than the first day, she has had no accidents. She uses the doggie door to go outside and does fine in her crate. Bagel has shown no interest in the cats she lives with, and although she has noticed the chickens, she doesn’t bother them. She would be fine as an only dog or with other dogs. She is occasionally playful with the 1 year old Golden Retriever in her foster home. Bagel Is heartworm positive and we will schedule her treatment the last week in August. She could go on sleepover before that time If adopters were willing and able to observe post-treatment restrictions. Bagel is a little treasure!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bagel VI was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bagel VI’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bagel VI’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bagel VI’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
