About this Dog
Puller is available to a loving home! This is a hard post for me to make. I need to re-home my dog. His name is Puller. He turned two in November 2024. According to previous owners, he is Lab Mixed with German Shepherd and Bloodhound. He is crate trained. Never had an accident in the house, but occasionally has reflux (once in a great while). He is hyper. He loves to walk, and take short romps outside. Then, loves to promptly return to his Air-conditioned house. He has a nose that smells everything, so he requires a lot of rawhides to get him to be still. Otherwise, he is constantly sniffing out everything in his surroundings. I worked with him a little bit on teaching him how to trail deer. He did really well, but probably couldn’t be just a hunting dog that lives outside, because he is too spoiled by AC for that. I love him, and will miss him, but I have too much going on with my kids right now to spend time with him. He needs more time out of the crate, and one of my kids is having some health issues right now. We’re running back and forth to Dr. appointments a lot. He is pretty smart, but sometimes makes dumb choices. He will sit and understands “no”. He comes back to me when I call him from outside. He loves to swim, and is quite good at it. If you have young kids, you may want to pass. He just doesn’t know his own strength and knocks them around sometimes. He would be great with pre-teens or teenagers. He has never bit anyone, although he’ll play nip at you if you are playing with him. He doesn’t do well with cats. I tried to ride him in the car a few times, and he breathes in my face when I try to drive, so he must be crated or blocked to ride. He is due for his rabies shot in July 2025.

Adopt Puller Winchester and Receive Puller Winchester's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Puller Winchester's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$6 is Puller Winchester's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Puller Winchester, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Puller Winchester's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Puller Winchester was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Puller Winchester’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Puller Winchester’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Puller Winchester’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
