About this Dog
Say hello to Huey—a goofy, gentle, and oh-so-cuddly golden doodle pup with a heart as big as his fluff! At just under a year old, Huey is still discovering the world and would love a patient, loving family to guide him as he grows. Huey is happiest when he’s with other dogs—he gains so much comfort and confidence from canine companions. In fact, he needs a friendly dog buddy in his new home. His brother Dewey is also available through GRRSWF, and together they make the most adorable duo if you're open to double the love! Like many young pups, Huey is still learning the ropes when it comes to potty training and leash walking. Because he isn’t used to a leash yet, he’ll need a securely fenced yard where he can safely explore and play while he continues to build confidence. Huey is a little shy in new situations, so a calm, quiet home with children over 12 will be the best fit. With time and love, he warms up and becomes a total lap dog—he absolutely adores cuddling and being close to his people. If you're looking for a sweet, sensitive pup who will shower you with affection (and maybe some puppy kisses), Huey is ready to be your loyal companion. And if you want a ready-made pair, his brother Dewey would love to come along too! Interested in adopting Huey (or Huey & Dewey)? Please begin the process of claiming Huey 1383's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Huey 1383 was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Huey 1383’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Huey 1383’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Huey 1383’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
