About this Cat
Supurr-Machine!! Meet Emma, a beautiful female tabico, 1-3 years old. Emma loves to be petted on her back and when she settles in, under her chin. She has the cutest little squeak and a purr that doesn't stop! Emma also loves to follow you around. Wand toys are her favorite, but she also loves to play with mice and balls. Her love of humans makes us think that she must have been someone's pet previously. She was already spayed when she came to Forgotten Cats, but unfortunately, she was not microchipped. Emma is not comfortable around dogs. She tolerates other cats but would probably prefer to be an only cat. One of our volunteers commented, "I feel she should go with an experienced adopter. Someone who understands her moods and can read her signals to leave her be. She loves pets on her terms and could take a little while to be comfortable in new environment. But once she is, can be a lovely cat. Would not recommend a home with small children or dogs. To be an only cat would be great, but is tolerant of another cat who keeps her distance." Please check out Emma's video. Does Emma sound as if she would be a great addition to our family? Please submit our no-obligation adoption application for a meet and greet or to adopt: https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/. Thank you! (Foster: Barbara H.)

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Emma (FCID# 03/21/24 - 22)'s new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Emma (FCID# 03/21/24 - 22)'s current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Emma (FCID# 03/21/24 - 22), thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Emma (FCID# 03/21/24 - 22)'s contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Emma (FCID# 03/21/24 - 22) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Emma (FCID# 03/21/24 - 22)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Emma (FCID# 03/21/24 - 22)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Emma (FCID# 03/21/24 - 22)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
