About this Cat
*Adoption fee sponsored by FFAS supporter* Hello, I am Rob. I am 2 years old but still have some kitten energy. I began life as a feral cat in Michigan and was taken to a shelter there when I was a kitten and less than a half a year old. By the time I got there, though, one of my eyes had become infected and had to be removed at the same time I was neutered. I was fostered in Michigan and then adopted and taken to Delaware where I lived with an 89-year-old woman who wanted a feline friend. When I first got there, I was very scared and would run and hide under the bed for hours. Over time, I became much more confident but I still hide when I encounter a stranger. I want to be with someone who is willing to play with me using my favorite wand toys so that I can get my energy out in a healthy way. I can hang out and chill during much of the day but when it’s play time, I need some undivided attention or I may nip at you. I’m super sweet when I want to be and I will roll over for tummy rubs and even jump into your lap sometimes. I think I will do best in a relatively quiet household without small children. I would love to be adopted by someone who enjoys playing with me! I came to the shelter when my owner could no longer take care of me.

Adopt Rob and Receive Rob's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Rob's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Rob's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Rob, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Rob's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Rob was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Rob’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Rob’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Rob’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
