About this Dog
Sienna is our wild child. She is a lot of dog in a medium package. We are not sure exactly what she is but maybe Jack Russell/Bully? is a low rider but don't let that fool you she can jump and scale a fence. She was found as a stray and was super nervous in the shelter so we had to get her out. She loves food and warms up to you in no time if you feed her. She has been with us a little over a year now. She is about 3 years old. She is a special girl and needs someone who is active but will understand that she is still a nervous dog. Because she can escape our fence she is either on a leash or in a kennel in the yard. She is good with cats and some other dogs. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sienna was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sienna’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sienna’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sienna’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
