About this Dog
Butter is a shy 1.5 yr old female that loves to run. Her father is a pure breed Australian Shepard and her mom is a Pitbull, Golden Retriever mix with Great Dane in her line which Butter inherited several things from, such as, her floppy ears and long legs. She was raised with and is Great with other dogs as well as cats and kids. She does struggle with separation anxiety so if she is left home alone she will need to be put in her crate. The one I have for her is hers so yes it goes with her to her new home. She actually loves having a crate and will go in and out of it like it's her own bedroom. On command she will go to her bed, sit and lay and 7 times out of 10 she will stay when told too. Having been put in the position to have to rehome my babies is really hard and would love for her new family to give me updates at least until she has completely made herself at home and I know she's happy. Also I know her name is odd but there is a story behind it lol Butter is the daughter of my Nala Mae, my other girl that also needs a home. I'd love for them to stay together but also know that's a lot to ask but if at all possible they would love it!!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Butter was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Butter’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Butter’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Butter’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
