About this Cat
Let me start by saying I have 3 pets of my own, which are 2 cats & my Chihuahua. 2 Months ago were i live, my neighbor from the building across from where I live was going to throw out 2 baby TUXEDO KITTENS. The owner of the APT already has a Pitbull & a cat.Apparently, the girl had her friend that stayed over & drop off the kittens & told her she was going to leave them there for a few days because she was going to take care of her Personal business & that she was coming back for them. The girl never came back to pick up the kittens. That left the owner of the APT no choice & told her friend that she has to find away to get rid of the kittens because of her animals that she already has. So apparently her friend that was staying there with her boyfriend told him to find someone to give the kittens too or that she was going to throw them out into the street & they could fend for themselves.My friend found out thru her boyfriend & she called me & I didn't have a heart to say no because they were small baby kitties.l can't keep them because i have alot of health issues. Also, it's to much time consuming that I don't get to get a break for myself. I have to admit it has become overwhelming for me. If I didn't have my pets then I wouldn't have mind keeping them. Lena is the kittie with out the black patch in her eye. Luna is the kittie with the Patch. They both are so sweet & very affectionate little sisters. It really breaks my heart to have to let them go. I just want both babies to really go to a safe & loving home.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and LENA, LUNA was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, LENA, LUNA’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the LENA, LUNA’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, LENA, LUNA’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
