About this Dog
Welcome Scooter to CCPAL Rescue. Scooter is a Chug (Chihuahua/Pug) puppy. He is 10 to 12 weeks old. He has upright ears and weighs about 4 pounds. He is really small and very very sweet. He is the bigger of the litter of two and the most outgoing. He helps his sister Bubbles to overcome her shyness. He likes being held and has gotten lots of attention in the rescue. He is playful and good with the other small Chugs that came from the same hoarder. He has gotten his vaccinations and will get one more before he is neutered. He will be ready for his forever home in a few weeks. He is not a big shedding dog and very trusting of people that are new. He loves being held. He would be great in just about any setting. I would say older children that are 8 or older. He would also be best with someone that doesn’t work all day everyday. He will need to finish of his puppy training and will need to be with his human to be fully socialized as an adult. He should weigh 12 to 15 pounds full grown is our best guess. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Oregon, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to [email protected] if you have questions. Adopt Scooter and Receive Scooter's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Scooter's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Scooter's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Scooter, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Scooter's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Scooter was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Scooter’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Scooter’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Scooter’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
