About this Dog

spayed female about 8-9 years old (adopted in December 2021 and the rescue estimated she was 4 years old then) around 60 lbs unknown/mixed breed up to date on shots and veterinary care. loves kids including toddlers and young children. gets along with men and women good with other dogs (she is initially shy in situations like the dog park, but loves playing with dogs she knows well, like at boarding/doggy day care) has lived with a cat (we had an elderly cat for a few years and Coco was curious about her, but the cat did not let her get close, so they just kept a few feet apart from each other most of the time) almost never barks no bite history generally low energy, but enjoys going for a 20-40 minute walk twice a day

Coco is a very sweet and gentle dog and is great with kids--we have neighbors who bring their toddler over to pet Coco. I also think she would thrive in a home with another dog.

How will Coco receive the contribution?

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Coco, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Coco's contribution here.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Coco was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Coco’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

What happens to unclaimed funds?

We want the Coco’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Coco’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
