About this Dog
Tortellini is available for adoption. She is 4 years old and weighs 7 lbs. Her adoption fee is $800.00. Tortellini is a 4 yr old, 7 lb little Yorkie girl. With energy to spare, she attacks each day as a gift she can fully enjoy. Having been a stray at one point in her life, it’s as if she really appreciates what she has now. Just 6 weeks since her car accident pre-fostering, she is all healed. She eats with gusto, is pee pad trained (but still loves to go outside to potty), she loves to play with toys, loves to romp around with our two other SAY rescues and will jump into your lap whether you’re ready or not. Tortellini is a mountain goat on the furniture and pretty much fearless while balancing on the back of the couch. She sleeps in a small enclosure and is quiet through the night. Grooming is a challenge since she will immediately roll on her back when the brush comes out… but eventually lets you finish. She is wary of new people and will bark quite loudly until a friendly hand is offered… then all is well. She is very interested in the other dogs’ dishes but has been warned off numerous times by our male Yorkie so we hope she’s getting the message. Tortellini will probably be fine as an only dog or in a multi-dog environment. She walks well on a leash. We are awaiting an indication as to her spay status since the vet’s can’t tell. Tortellini is staying with Mary Anne and Michael in New Canaan, CT.

$0.0 is A Tortellini's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the A Tortellini, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming A Tortellini's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and A Tortellini was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, A Tortellini’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the A Tortellini’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, A Tortellini’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
