About this Cat

I took Kali in from a feral litter of kittens found outdoors at a tender age of approximately 8 weeks. She was litter trained and eating solids when I was gifted her from a friend who found her and her siblings. She is possibly best with adults in a slower paced and peaceful environment. She hasn’t had any experience yet living with kids, another cat or any dogs however she is showing social improvement in our temporary roommate living arrangement. Kali loves to cuddle at the feet at night and can squirrel/bird watch on her favorite perch and blanket ALL day with excitement. She prefers a clean litter box, grooms herself really well and still has spunk even after 4 years! She finds joy in the smallest things like one of my hair ties and soccer-kick it around until she’s tired. She likes to play catch with it and will place it at my feet to play with her! Out of all the toys I have gifted her to be stimulated, a hair tie is her favorite lol. She despises bugs and will leave her kill to show me her accomplishment. She doesn’t wake me for food, I have an automatic dry feeder with proportioned food and provide perfect portioned wet food at least twice a day. She certainly enjoys sleeping in and has a healthy appetite but not afraid to let me know if she wants more. She’s playful with me before a good night’s rest and her zoomies are short lived. She’s quiet and peaceful most of the time yet she knows how to get my attention if she needs it. She’s a winker and pretty content with the basics and a peaceful home and tidy environment. Such a fun joy to be around! Kali is a spayed indoor cat with up to date rabies and distemper vaccinations. She has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. DOB 6/17/2019 Spayed Female Domestic Shorthair Calico color Professional Biscuit Maker Up-to-date vaccinations Vet records available with adoption

Adopt Kali and Receive Dogecoin

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Kali's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

How will Kali receive the Dogecoin?

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Kali, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Kali's Dogecoin here.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kali was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kali’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

What happens to unclaimed funds?

We want the Kali’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kali’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
