About this Dog
Jolene is a super friendly girl. She is a mixed breed (?) at 2 years and 6 months. She is a perfect size weighing 46 pounds (All the better to hug). She has a short black and white coat and such a friendly face to match her personality. Her family surrendered her because they were moving and could not take her with them. She has proven to be super friendly with dogs and kids. It is unknown if she has met a cat. Jolene does have a funny quirk: She loves rocks! Yes rocks! She has a rock baby. She will pick up a special rock, carry it around, set it down and then curl up with it.She is working on her crate and leash training but has successfully completed her house training. Daily walks will be a good opportunity to check out her leash skills as well as socialization skills. It will be a new world to her with all the new sights, smells, sounds, and people along her walk. It is important to remember that although Jolene is housetrained, accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. She will also appreciate free time in the back yard. Keeping her mind active with activities that provide physical and mental stimulation will prevent boredom. Jolene will want to be with a family that will give lots of affection and attention to her. Interested?* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Jolene is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.

Adopt Jolene and Receive Jolene's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Jolene's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Jolene's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Jolene, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Jolene's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Jolene was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Jolene’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Jolene’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Jolene’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
