They are sure to be everything their forever family is looking for. A little bit of curiosity, fun and adventure is a day in the life of Zorro. He is starting off small of around 20 pounds but looking into the future, this boy will certainly get bigger. Where he stops is certainly a guess and our best estimate is that he will be a large dog of somewhere over 60 pounds when he is fully grown. He has a big heart and a big personality already so there is no guesswork there. Navigating through life has its challenges but if you have friends along the way, it makes life interesting. Zorro is a big fan of meeting and spending time with other dogs, children, and cats. Frequent interactions with friends are a big part of what Zorro envisions for himself. Play and exploration are taken to the next level when he has a friend along with him. A day full of play, exploration and socializations are just what Zorro is looking for. There is sure to be adventures around every corner and Zorro will be first in line.Zorro is learning about the expectations of house, crate, and leash skills. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Zorro's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Zorro was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Zorro’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Zorro’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Zorro’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
