I'm Merryweather! I'm a shy little lady. When I first came to my foster home, I wasn't feeling well at all because I had a pyometra. I spent a lot of time hiding, but after a vet visit and some TLC, I'm feeling much better. I'm starting to enjoy the treats, soft beds, and quiet moments. It's taking me a little longer to trust, but I'm slowly warming up to my new foster mom and my surroundings. My mom of 8 years sadly had to leave me and my sisters, Fauna and Flora, due to unfortunate circumstances. For now, we're living with our wonderful foster mom who is helping us feel safe, secure and loved again. Merryweather would do well in a home with no dogs. Merryweather was born around May 7, 2017, and is currently being fostered in Waterbury. She is fixed, up-to-date on shots, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Applications for adoption can be found at our website at www.fosterandforever.org. Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24-48 hours.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Merryweather was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Merryweather’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Merryweather’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Merryweather’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
