About this Dog
Ears straight up, looking alert and attentive is just how our boy Bolt presents himself. A confident personality is an impressive attribute but when you sprinkle in the love of Bolt, you know he is the complete package. Bold it a one-year-old terrier mix and is considered a medium size with his weight approximately around 33 pounds. He is a young and smaller sized buddy to take with you everywhere. He has lived with and interacts well with other dogs and even cats. Bolt also enjoys interacting with children. He scores high on the well-mannered list, and we consider him a really great dog. A medium energy boy like Bolt will thrive in a fairly active family and one that provides regular exercise, continued training and an abundance of socialization. From play groups at doggie day care to one-on-one time with his family, Bolt will be a part of the action as well as the down time. Any time of day can be Bolt time. His house, crate and leash training are in focus for him to achieve master status. Bolt will continue to work on each skill with the assistance of his family to help him along the way. His family will need patience and commitment to assure that he will be successful in his endeavors. Time with Bolt will be treasured memories for years to come. You will not know what you are missing until you bring Bolt home as your next family member. * When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Bolt is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.

Adopt Bolt and Receive Bolt's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Bolt's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Bolt's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Bolt, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Bolt's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bolt was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bolt’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bolt’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bolt’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
