About this Dog
Meet amazing Andy! This sweet, lovable boy is a one-year-old mixed breed. He is fully grown at 31 pounds. Andy is looking for a loving home where he will get the attention he so deserves. Andy has a medium energy level. He loves to play outside with other dogs but is happy to take a nap inside too. He is wonderful with whatever the people and dogs around him are doing. If you want to play, he is ready. If you want to cuddle, he is down for that, too. He will follow your lead. Andy gets along fantastically with other dogs. He has met young, old, female, male, small and large dogs and has loved them all. He is a submissive pup and would do great in a home with a confident canine sibling. While Andy can be a bit shy at first, he relaxes quickly once he knows he can trust someone, and another dog showing him the ropes would be helpful for that (although not required). Andy is also good with children and would flourish in a home with two legged siblings as well. Andy has not met cats yet. Andy is already house, and crate trained. He is working on his leash skills, but is a quick learner, so he should master leash walking quickly with the patience and consistency of his new family. If Andy sounds like the perfect pup for you, read below!* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Andy is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.

Adopt Andy and Receive Andy's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Andy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Andy's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Andy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Andy's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Andy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Andy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Andy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Andy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
