About this Dog
May the paws be with you as you search for your next four-legged friend. Meet Rey, 6.5-month-old mixed breed sports a short brown and white coat with upright ears. His most charming feature is that his ears are almost bigger than his face; he could practically use them to fly the Millennium Falcon!Rey weighs about 30 pounds at almost 7 months old. Because he is still young, expect him to grow some more. It is estimated that he will reach up to 60 pounds at full growth, making him a medium-sized dog. His short coat makes him physically low maintenance, but his energy levels are another story: they are off the charts, which is typical of a young dog. Rey has been fostered with multiple dogs, so suffice it to say, he is great with other dogs. He also has a good relationship with children. His energy level would be a perfect fit for families with dogs and children, so he has someone to run around with. Fun fact about him? In addition to loving playing with other dogs and children, he also loves his toys. His favorite toy is currently a stuffed Kong bear. He has not been destructive with his toys, which indicates how sweet and gentle this boy is.His house training, leash training and crate training are still works in progress. Give him some time and he will impress you with his quick learning followed by tons of positive reinforcement. As mentioned above, he is an active doggie so he would absolutely thrive in an equally active family that may have dogs and children to keep up with his bounds of energy. He would also love a large backyard to run around and explore and possibly learn some agility training. Rey is waiting for his forever home. How could you not fall in love with those beautiful eyes? If you are ready to meet your match in energy and activeness, look no further. Come meet Rey today and you will not regret it. * When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Rey is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. Adopt Rey and Receive Rey's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Rey's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Rey's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Rey, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Rey's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Rey was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Rey’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Rey’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Rey’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
