About this Dog
Who could not use a little sunshine in their lives? We would say that everyone does. Bring the sunshine indoors with our loveable and sweet girl Sunshine! Her golden coat is appealing and even brighter in the sun. Sunshine and her sister Star are 5-month-old Labrador retriever mixes. Both found as strays with a second chance to shine in the lives of their forever families. Sunshine is making a positive and joyous impression with her endearing personality. She weighs 20 pounds currently but is expected to be a medium size dog of up to 60 pounds when fully grown. She has a bit of a shy side but will bloom to her lovely self in short amount of time with kindness and love. Sunshine is a great gal with a zest for meeting people, other dogs and children. Her playful puppy nature is a treat for all who join her in her escapes of fun and adventure. She has not had the opportunity to meet a cat since coming into rescue so her relationship with a feline is not known at this time. All of her house, crate and leash training are in progress. She is working hard on all of her skills so she can impress her forever family. As with all puppies, Sunshine is full of curiosity and wonderment and is ready to grow from adorable puppy to an amazing dog with the right guidance and patience. She will need a home with someone who has the time, desire and energy to train and socialize her so that she can become the perfect lifelong companion.Just like stepping out into the sun and soaking up the warmth, you can step into the presence of Sunshine and soak up the warmth of her love. * When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Sunshine is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. 100% of Sunshine's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Sunshine.
Adopt Sunshine and Receive Sunshine's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sunshine's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Sunshine's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Sunshine, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Sunshine's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sunshine was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sunshine’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sunshine’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sunshine’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
