At around 46 pounds, Jetson is the perfect medium-sized pup with a uniquely lovable look and a heart that is slowly learning to trust.Jetson is just 1 year old and still figuring out the world. He was timid and shy in the shelter environment and was getting the help he needed to manage his stress and ease his anxiety. But beneath that nervous exterior is a gentle soul ready to blossom in a calm, loving home. Patience along with a calm environment will help Jetson adapt to family life where he will find his inner confidence. He is good with other dogs and has done well with kids. His behavior around cats is still unknown. Jetson is currently working on crate, and leash training and should continue to make steady progress with dedication from his new family. Jetson does well with leash skill in environments where he is comfortable so he will need more practice to truly feel comfortable in any environment. Jetson has done his homework and is housetrained. Although he is housetrained, it is important to remember that accidents can happen while adjusting to a new home environment. With kindness and loving environment, Jetson is sure to come out of his shell and become a loyal, loving companion. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Jetson was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Jetson’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Jetson’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Jetson’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
