About this Dog
A boy like Jacob does not come along every day. Check out his sleek yellow coat and bright eyes. He is a sweet companion in the making and on track to find his one and only family. Jacob along with hi two siblings were rescued from a shelter because their individual personalities made them stand outs. They are 8-month-old labrador retriever mixes. They are full of fun, love and adventure. Jacob currently weighs around 40 pounds, and he is sure to grow bigger since he is a young pup. It is estimated that he will be a large size boy at somewhere over 60 pounds. Whatever his adult size is, he will be an awesome pup.Dogs, children and adults will line up to meet Jacob. He gets along great with any and all of them. We do not know how he would be with cats because he has not been introduced to any cats since coming into rescue. His medium energy will be the winning ticket for loads of fun, play and also leisure. With his playful puppy energy, he will need interactive play, chew toys and some outdoor activities. He is working on his skills of house, crate and leash training. Jacob will put in the effort and reap the reward of accomplishment when he has mastered each one.As with all puppies, Jacob is full of curiosity and wonderment and is ready to grow from adorable puppy to an amazing dog with the right guidance and patience. He will need a home with someone who has the time, desire and energy to train and socialize him so that he can become the perfect lifelong companion.Jacob is ready to embrace his life of adventure, snuggles and companionship. A new beginning with all the trimmings of what life has to offer. He will live each day to the fullest with his heart full of love for his forever family.* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Jacob is $500. Adopt Jacob and Receive Jacob's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Jacob's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Jacob's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Jacob, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Jacob's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Jacob was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Jacob’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Jacob’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Jacob’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
