Super cute, super playful and super adorable! That is just scratching the surface. Our bubbly bundle of labrador retriever mix pups is just what the doctor ordered. Come meet the five-month-old siblings and find out what falling in love at first sight is all about. Our girl Birdie has a great personality and loads of sweetness. She weighs around 20 pounds and will grow in the days ahead. Our best guess is that she will be a medium sized dog of under 60 pounds when fully grown.Birdie can be on the shy side when first meeting new people or when in a new environment. However, she warms up with kindness and a gentle approach. When not soaking up the attention from her friends, she can be found playing with other dogs. She especially enjoys time with children and adults. Bentley is blossoming every day and with more exposure to new places and people the experiences will work magic on building a foundation of confidence. She has not had an opportunity to meet a cat since coming into rescue so it is unknown how she would react to a feline companion. She is working on her house, crate and leash training and doing what she can to be a success. It will take patience, commitment and continued training to have Birdie cross the finish line with learning her skill set.Birdie will be the life of the party with all eyes on her and her fun puppy antics and charm. She will be a delight for the family that will raise her into adulthood and beyond. She has her heart set on finding her perfect family and sharing lots of memories throughout the years. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Birdie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Birdie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Birdie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Birdie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
