About this Dog
We know the scenario; you saw her picture and you needed to know more about Sosa. We cannot blame you. Sosa was a top favorite at the shelter in Texas, and she is still scoring high marks with everyone that meets her. Sosa is a young mixed breed gal of around 9 months old, and she is medium sized weighing around 35 pounds. She may grow a bit more or a lot more in the future, but our best guess is that she will remain a medium sized gal of under 60 pounds when fully grown. The life of a dog is enhanced by a group of friends and playmates. Sosa does not have a shortage of either because she does well with other dogs and children. A welcoming girl like Sosa is always open to having a life full of interactions and friends are a big part of that. Currently she has not been introduced to a cat so we are not aware of how she would be interacting with a cat. We do know she is a playful pup with lots of charm, spunk and charisma to brighten the darkest of days. She is a work in progress when it comes to learning her house crate and leash training. Her family will need to be front and center in the training to keep her on track and provide lots of support. When it comes to love, Sosa has it in spades and is ready to spread her love and joy to the family that she can call hers. Just picture her adorable and welcoming face greeting you every morning. Take that first step and apply for Sosa today. * When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Sosa is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.

Adopt Sosa and Receive Sosa's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sosa's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Sosa's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Sosa, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Sosa's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sosa was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sosa’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sosa’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sosa’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
