About this Dog
Meet Trent, a handsome sturdy three-year-old lab mix. Luckily for Trent he was pulled from a high kill shelter and brought to Connecticut where he is ready to find his forever home.Trent is a medium sized boy at 60 pounds. He has such a sweet face, and his eyes are so sweet and seem to be full of wisdom. He has a medium level of energy for fun and games and a heart wide open ready to receive plenty of snuggles, hugs, kisses and lots of love. He enjoys other dogs and children as well. It is not known how he feels about cats. Trent is working on his house and crate training as well as his leash training. Trent is a happy dog and is willing to learn as long as he gets positive reinforcement and love. Rescue dogs can have accidents as they become accustomed to a new home, new family and new routines. If crate training is planned Trent should have a crate that is big enough for him to turn around, stand up and lie down comfortably. It should be a cozy happy place that he wants to go to hang out in, it should never be used as punishment.Trent is a great dog, and he is ready to show his new forever family how much love he has to give and is ready to create a lifetime of memories with you.The adoption fee for Trent is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue, and transport fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To help speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.

Adopt Trent and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Trent's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Trent's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Trent, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Trent's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Trent was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Trent’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.

We want the Trent’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Trent’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
