He is a small dude of 18 pounds, and he has charm that goes the distance.Pinto Bean is a friendly little guy with personality to spare. He does well with other dogs and children alike. We do not know what his approach to a cat would be since he has not had the opportunity to meet a cat since coming into rescue. He will make a great companion for a family that will enjoy taking him places or even just lounging around the house. A little bit of play, time with chew toys and naps with the family will be a great combination in the day in the life of Pinto Bean. He is in the process of learning his house, crate and leash training. He takes one day at a time and puts in his full effort to learn his skills so he can be the best companion/house dog possible. It will take time, but Pinto Bean will have the backing of his patient and committed family to help him out. His ideal family will be one that will provide him with consistent exercise, continued training and, last but not least, socialization. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Pinto Bean was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Pinto Bean’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Pinto Bean’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Pinto Bean’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
