About this Dog
When you have class and style, you have a great combination of traits. When you have Aurora and her sister Jasmine you have those traits as well as an awesome combination of never-ending love from each one mixed in. Aurora is a beautiful, adorable and sweet loving pup. She is affectionate, calm and well behaved for a young pup. She is a 9-month-old labrador retriever mix at around 40 pounds. She most likely has most of her growing behind her but there is still time for some more growth as well. It is estimated that she will be a medium size dog of up to 60 pounds when fully grown. Our girl Aurora was found as a stray, so her past is an unknown, but we do know that she has a delightful personality and is looking forward to finding her one and only family. She loves to run around with her canine friends in a secure open space. Her sense of adventure is going to be a treat for her family. Aurora will love many opportunities to engage in play with other dogs, befriend children and get affection from everyone she meets. She has not been introduced to cats since coming into rescue, so her acceptance of cats remains an unknown at this time. Aurora is focused on learning the skills of house training. She knows it is a process and with hard work, determination and also assistance from her family, she will have those skills down pat in no time at all. Aurora can check crate and leash training off of her to do list. Aurora knows her leash manners as well as her manners in the crate and she will proudly display them. Her joyous nature is a delight to those around her. Aurora has many years to offer up days filled with love and companionship. She is sure to be a treasure to her forever family.* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Aurora is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. Adopt Aurora and Receive Aurora's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Aurora's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Aurora's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Aurora, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Aurora's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Aurora was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Aurora’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Aurora’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Aurora’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
